We have been full time in our 22 Superstar since we picked it up Dec of 22.
List of issues got fixed last year at the factory and added a few more to the list for a trip this year before the year was up.
All of them have been minor and nothing has kept us from using the coach.
May be...
The dealer doesnt have to register the vehicle for you, when we purchased our 2021 Superstar in Colorado, we registered it ourselves with the state upon arrive back home... . every state is different depending on how they work with your home state...
Enjoying the discussion on these.
We know someone that blew a front tire on their super c and ended up totaling the coach and trailer. Not easy to handle even with the front wheels in front of you.
Been kicking around getting them on our superstar.
The one we had done on our new Superstar last December was right around $1500.
About the same depth of reporting and time required that Scott mentioned.
We used a husband and wife that are both master certified inspectors.
All as it should be. Maybe when I get everything else done on my coach list I’ll install a regen switch. Is yours spring loaded/momentary of just on/off?
Know this is an older one but…
We are having them installed on our Superstar in June.
Going to the Spartan factory for the install since we have an appt at the mothership for the items we put in warranty list before our year was up.
Had to provide the wheel model number for them to verify...
I think the opening of selling the Superstars at additional dealers will help overall.
When we bought ours we would have had to travel a long way to get one from other than North Trail.
Have a Superstar so may be a bit different for pushers.
First year chassis and engine maintenance was about $1200.
Just had the 2 year done (same as the 30k) along with generator maintenance. Was little over $1400 this time mostly because we added the generator service.
I have a Blue-Fire adapter on the way for our Superstar on the M2 106 chassis.
Have started putting together a dashboard on my iPad mini.
Thought I’d reach out and see if anyone had dashboards they’d be willing to share…
Thanks
So, North Trail has had 4 2023 Superstar 4059s on their lot since mid summer, plus some other floorplans. They refused to negotiate beyond 25%, back in November. I figured they would try to sell them at a better price at the show. I guessed wrong as the same 4 are still on their lot and...
There are many that are upgrading their suspensions utilizing sumo springs, upgraded shocks etc. I will stand by my post of major lean. I can even post where it happened. Heading N going up 95 in Jax. There is a slight turn to the right as you go under an overpass. At 60/65, the lean was way...
Great question, Stuart. I've also been intrigued but once I sat in the driver's seat and lost the panoramic view from my class A, the intrigue left rather quickly.
Maybe DennisT will start another thread - Why I bought my Super C.
The so-called salesman switch (I HATE that term…pet peeve of mine) which is more accurately called the battery disconnect switch, is normally located near the entry door.
In other words, what my friend @ARD said.
Perhaps @JRW-NAW can chime in since they also have a Superstar.
Yeah, can’t see anything in the black def tank on the Superstar either.
On the trip to Ohio from Florida I went to 3/4 twice and just put the nozzle in and stopped when it clicked off. Gauge said full so I’m good with that process.
I know on our Superstar the chassis batteries are charged as well as the house when we are plugged in and parked.
Been in the coach for 8 months and have never used the disconnect for the chassis batteries that is by the driver seat. I leave that on to keep the float charge on the chassis...
This was a good reminder to plan ahead, just in case.
With a SuperStar we have the cab doors as an option but, only if we take a key with us while we are away from the coach.
We are now grabbing that each time we head out.
Along with that, the inner wheels are normally steel even if the outers are aluminum. Steel does not dissipate the heat as well running down the road.
See that on our Superstar even though engine is not in play for us.
Well, now that the deal is done we are in The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto FL. A whole 12 hours in the new coach so far and loving every minute.
New 2022 SuperStar 4061.
Some pics to follow.
