    New addition

    Some homeowners insurance will cancel your policy if you own certain breeds of dogs. My FIL had to give up his pit bull mixed dog that was very friendly. The bad thing is there are fewer bad dogs than bad owners.

    Will OASIS burner run your diesel tank dry?

    I was told by a tech at Newmar, the Oasis is like the generator, has a tube inside the tank that will not let it go below 1/4 tank. Guess that's not true.

    Onan Genny maintenance parts

    For the bus engine I used OEM filters. I contacted Cummins and asked what oil came in the engine. They told me Valvoline blue. It got hard to find so I switched to Rotella since you can find it anywhere. Always sent a sample to Blackstone labs when I changed it. Cheap insurance.

    For the generator, I shopped at O'Reilly. When I saw the Kobota data plate on the 10K Cummins Onan generator, it was an easy choice. Usually bought Wix brand oil, air and fuel filters.

    Replacing House Batteries

    When I replaced the house batteries, I went with AGMs. The off gassing causes so much corrosion. Ended up replacing ALL the cables due to the corrosion traveling up the cables. The replacements were one size larger welding cables. Welding cables are so much easier to work with being finer...
