    Bike rack options?

I've seen a couple pickups with bikes standing up on/in the bed. They could be hand made but question if there are there bike racks for use in the bed of pickups?

FYI Tow bar sway - quiet hitch

I use them on my hitch as pictured and to take up the slack on my bike rack. I like everything riding on a hitch as tight as possible

Freedom Express 192RBS Bumper Weight Limit

...my bumper. Here is the answer that I got back from him: The bumper and frame are not designed for installing aftermarket items such as bike racks, cargo racks, etc. Issues arising from installation of such items become the installer's responsibility. Can anyone tell me what your experience...

    Question Bike Rack Recommendation

Not to throw a wrench into your thought process, but I just discovered that Vertical Bike Racks are also a thing. Take a look a the Yakima Hangout 4, Velicorax and Altaracks. I think these are perfect going going between the toad and MH.

    RVing with E-Bikes

We also look for trails near our travels. There are so many that we would have had to pass up had we not invested in our e bikes. Many that we would have passed up even before our e bikes now are easy to ride, One of the most amazing was San Gabriel Canyon Road AKA Rt 39 not far from San...

Question Put a bike rack on the back of transend trailer. Is it ok

If it has a hitch receiver, I don’t see how a bike rack could be an issue; assuming you’re talking regular bikes and that you aren’t near the weight limit.

Make sure your bike rack can handle the weight of your bikes. Know the limits and also do not travel with a bike cover on as I did and nearly took out a Loves fuel truck! Thread on here somewhere.

    RVing with E-Bikes

Be careful using a bike cover while traveling. I have a post here somewhere but I about took out a Love's truck with my bike when my bike rack failed. The bike rack vendor states not to use a cover for this very reason. It cannot withstand the wind pressure. You are at very high risk of killing...

    E-Bike update?

@10thtp We have RAD city step through e-bikes (i.e. full size bikes) and I use a Hollywood e-bike rack on the back of our toad. The bikes come it at 65lbs with the battery probably 5 or so lbs lighter without battery. BUT you don't have to lift 65lbs to get the bikes into the rack. I lift the...

    RVing with E-Bikes

@Jim I'm with you. I just could not pull the trigger on the high $ versions of the e-bikes. We went with the RAD City Step thru model. Bought ours a couple years ago and love them. Bought a heavy duty bike rack that will hold both bikes from e-trailer. The bike rack mounts to the receiver on the...

Question Coachmen Cross Trail 23xg Garage Hooks?????

Can anyone share if they have successfully hung 2 bikes on these back garage racks. We have 2 - 45 lb each. E mountain bikes, but are worried that would rip those brackets out, travelling .

    RVing with E-Bikes

I’m building a custom rack to hold these bikes. Part of it will be removable and double as a bike rack, all of it lockable. And I will get insurance. My first quote was over $300/year so I like the suggestion above from @NWIP. I’ll also check with a couple others that I use for various things...

    Bike rack options?

My bikes will ride on a hitch mounted rack on the jeep. That way I can take the bikes with me to trails or other places away from the coach. I’m combining a typical hitch-mount two-bike rack with a hitch-mount cargo rack (probably the same as what you are using for firewood) to ensure its strong...

Freedom Express 192RBS Bumper Weight Limit

Do not mount anything to the bumper. I don’t even think I could stand on it without bending it. in my opinion, You should be able to mount a two bike rack to the frame without a problem. Just a count for the extra weight when you’re loading your trailer so you don’t put too much weight on the...

    RVing with E-Bikes

My “new” e-bike rack that is actually parts from a cheap bike rack I bought used on Craigslist for $40 for the vertical parts, and an old hitch-mounted cargo tray/bike rack I’ve had for years. The new 29’ers were too big for the tray but I wanted the weight capacity and security of it, so I...

Bike Rack Between MH and Toad

I have a similar problem except I have four bikes to carry. A 29” and 24” mountain bike, the wife’s beach cruiser and an 18” kids bike. Right now we have a Yakima Four Timer platform bike rack on the back of the truck which works fine but it would be nice to be able to put all of those bikes on...

    Bike rack options?

This is my setup but they're lighter regular bikes. Then can switch the bike rack to the back of the Jeep when local use is needed.

    Bike rack options?

I bought a rack like that used on CL for $40 for parts for the contraption Im building. It will be a little ugly, but it will carry the weight, be very lockable and have additional brake/tail lights and turn signals. Hopefully that will cover all the bases, accept appearance of course. I’d have...
