...tire pressure check. The coach had been sitting for several months due to the pandemic, so I was curious what I would find.
We use an EEZ Tire TPMS unit, so I switched it on and let it find all the tires. It was a perfect day to do this; cloudy and in the mid-60s. I checked the tire...
The 2020’s have the internal Valor (internal to the tire) TPMS. It displays directly on the dash. I read on another forum that someone had it installed on his Jeep Cherokee, and connected to his coach dash so all tires can be monitored. He had the Valor rep meet him in Nappanee to program it...
...the rear (dually) stem, front was just a slightly longer (maybe 1/3/4 or 2 inch at an angle on the front. Both supported the removable screw on TPMS with no problems. Only versions I have heard of with potential issues with the screw on type TPMS would be rubber valve stems, and valve stem...
My Spartan TPMS can now read the pressure and temps on my TOAD! Long story short... The dealer ordered Gen 1 TPMS sensors vs. Gen 3 so I've had incompatible sensors in my TOAD vehicle this entire time. Took like 20 months to get this figured out and resolved.
Thanks to all the assistance...
I use the ( GUTA GT50 TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring ) for my Jeep when towing. You just screw the sensors on the end of the valve stem works perfect with a dash monitor that sits on the dash of our Dynaquest XL . This set up is so much simpler and works perfect.
DON'T GET A TOAD FLAT
THIS POST IS SPECIFICALLY TO ADDRESS USING TPMS SENSORS ON YOUR TOWED (TOAD) VEHICLE - NOT YOUR RV (hence the reason this is posted in the TOAD VEHICLES sub-forum)!
MOUNTING TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER VALVE STEMS CAN CAUSE THEM TO FAIL!
IN FACT, MANY TOP MANUFACTURERS...
How many years did we go with cars that didn't have a TPMS?
Now I do use TST sensors on them when towing behind the RV. I couldn't care less about a TPMS system in my car/truck otherwise.
Courtesy of AI. Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) were first introduced in 1986 in luxury and performance vehicles, but became a legal requirement in 2007:
What brand TPMS and type of sensors? Unless you are super slow putting the sensors on, you should really only loose a pound at the most. Don't forget, your gauge and the TPMS probably don't read exactly the same. You should have a few lbs "safety factor" in your desired pressure. Figure out...
...found the answer yet but I did come across this interesting information.
AAA conducted a series of tests on tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) in various vehicles to assess their effectiveness in detecting underinflated tires. Here's a summary of the key findings and recommendations...
This may have been covered earlier but can you tie the tow sensors into a Spartan chassis TPMS? I'd like to maintain factory FORD sensors in the tow to allow the in car TPMS to work.
Looks like this is the kit i would need

Then it says it's hard to balance.
Then it says it's impossible to run the better tpms with them.
ugh.
We used an EEZ RV TPMS system, but other brands include TireMinder and 507 Series. I'd skip the flow through sensors. Just a problem waiting to happen.
Also, if not already equipped you might consider metal tire valves.
Since taking ownership of my 2022 London Aire, I have been plagued by random failures of the TPMS. I have read the many reports online regarding this, and I followed the procedures everyone had posted.
I had 5 separate trips to NIRVC to have the TPMS worked on, and each time a random failure...
...car that came with low profile tires. The tire was on about 60% air and discount refused to repair due to wall damage!
Next car(truck) had tpms and I saw the benefits. 3 tires were saved by that tool, now I would have them replaced in a heart beat! At first sign of failure.
Notice I...
Well we will see how this works. Don’t have high hopes but will try.
Select TPMS then OK for 5-10 secs you get this program screen. Luckily I have a diagnostic tool to get the TPMS codes from the Ford.
We’ll see…
...it to Discount Tire and had all tires replaced with name-brand tires and I stepped up one load range for extra peace of mind. And, we have a TPMS that I wouldn't travel without. It has saved me from damage in the past when I've picked up nails or screws and had a leak.
As for the floor jack...
