The correct gen 3 sensors (4 of them per box) for my Spartan chassis for my 2023 New Aire came in a box labeled
SLT Part No: 110302020523
Shyft Group Part No: 0755-GG3-001
What told the guy who was going to sell me the gen 3 scan tool that I had the wrong gen 1 sensors from the dealer was...
...whatever you decide on for extenders, do not over tighten--it distorts the seals and they'll leak.
Also from experience, forget that TPMS setup. You'll have a terrible time getting the right pressure in your tires!
When you screw on those caps (which need batteries changed yearly) you will...
...to be resolved which I'm sure will be a good outcome as I have faith in those involved.
This thread will remain open for any developing updates that people want to share as we learn of them.
Edit: The Spartan TPMS issue (not sure if both vendors were affected) was another example. It takes...
Part of my decision was based on my overall needs for tpms.
I have 1 Motorohome. 2 toads, and 4 trailers.
The trailers are towed by either of 3 vehicles, one of them being a 2021 Dodge Ram with factory tpms and ability to monitor trailer tires.
That means I have 2 towing vehicles that can...
I just had a rubber valve stem fail in the middle of Nowhere, Nebraska. I am pretty sure that it was caused by the TPMS sensor working the valve stem back and forth. It was on a dual, and had an extension on it.
I had the tire store install a metal stem on that rim, but I removed all of my...
My freightliner manual says to follow instructions in the Valor TPMS manual to set the temp warning limits. Has anyone found instructions? I don't even know if we have Valor TPMS on the 2022 DS 4081 since the pressures are displayed on the Opti View instrument panel. There is a lot of...
I went to a couple of tire shops today to see about metal stems on the toad. My 2015 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk has an on-board tpms in addition to the eez tire sensors I run on the toad valve stems for flat towing. To change out to a compatible stem for my vehicle was expensive. They (Big O)...
In my experience TPMS systems are always off by about 10% off. Most systems require the vehicle/tire to be moving for 3-5 minutes before they provide an accurate read, and even then, they are usually about 10% off.
on my SUV, the OEM ones are off by 2lbs from my gauge and pump when the...
I did not set up my toad with in dash TPMS. They say you can buy extra tire sensors and you can incorporate them with your system, but I have yet to run across anybody who has done it yet. I may look into Tire Tracker for my Jeep Sahara toad instead.

...it sounds like they are well made products. I gave up trying to get all my tires at the exact same pressure and manage to get within 2 psi (according to the TPMS) with a manual gauge, but I can see how this would allow fine tuning of tire pressure. You could also compare results with the TPMS.
I'm not sure who owns the TPMS whether it's Chassis or Newmar. But it is interesting to listen to what's going on with these and their problems and limits. We may be spoiled though for those of us that have TPMS like I use TST Truck. Our cars don't allow us to set these types of limits so is it...
I’m usually traveling 1 day each 10 - 20 days. I pick either the day before or two days most. As soon as I get up I turn on my TPMS and check the tires. Any variance over 2-3 lbs. I correct.
