Buffalo Ridge Rv Campground Custer, South Dakota.
This is a fairly new resort near Mt Rushmore & Custer State Park. Really a beautiful area. Beautiful view from our space (509).
Don’t the zip-loc-bags melt on the salmon?🙄😂🤣
Now you guys have gotten the DW (and me) interested in this contraption. As if I don’t already own enough smokers & bbqs.
Ok, I just went through every post on this thread and there is not one post on a “popped” air bag. There are several post where air bags were abused with no problem. My unscientific assumption is that you can lower the jacks without dumping the air bags to stabilize the coach, just don’t go...
The Dutch Star has independent front suspension and the front cannot be lifted except from under a frame point.
I have had the unfortunate experience of being towed long distances twice. Both times, luckily, by extremely experienced tow people who had towed literally hundreds of coaches like...
Still trying to work the jacks/airbag information to a logical conclusion.
When a shop changes a tire, they place a jack under a solid frame member and jack the coach up. Never have I seen them dump the bags first. Isn’t this exactly the same as using the coach’s onboard jacks to raise the...
I’m not familiar with the Valid system. All I know is that when the AA system is working, the whole coach HWH/jacks/leveling system/traveling system/etc all work together seamlessly.
We’ve been sitting at a somewhat unlevel spot on air level (no jacks) for three days now and the coach has stayed...
We also always leave the doors open when not using. When we had a trip interrupted because of Def issue, we had to leave the coach at a Freightliner dealer because at that time, the part was not available. We luckily were within 4 hours of home. We packed up our food, but bungeed the fridge...
Yes, just left the HWH factory/service center a couple of weeks ago. Talked to Paul (owner) and at length with the engineers that work with the AA program. There are no set plans as to when the AA program will resume. They are still claiming labor problems are limiting them. The engineers did...
I respectfully disagree. Been a Michelin customer for 30+ years. Never a problem. On the motorhome I have always gone with the 7 year rule even though the Michelin’s have always looked great when changed out. Some trucker probably got a lot of mileage out of my old tires.
For a guy who had a DEF head failure, had to wait overnight to be towed 130 miles and then had to wait 30 days for repair (COVID times), that sounds pretty sweet to me @sheridany.
It really doesn’t take long for a 200ppm or higher chlorine solution to sanitize a system. First the system must be clean as you can’t sanitize a dirty surface. Once the system is clean, two minutes of running a 200ppm sodium hypochlorite will sanitize the system. Longer than that will not get...
