Tip Okinawa Restaurant in Adairsville Ga

Quite the interesting International meal. Food was ok Asian variety. Quantity was good. The visible kitchen was very audible, speaking Spanish, over powered by Country music ( which was fun listening.) Scenes of Swiss Alps on the TV. Quite the event. Recommend Steak and Shirmp, fried rice dish.

    Question Cummins repair

Any suggestions for a good Cummins service center for RVs in central Florida? Need a coolant gasket replaced. Chassis guys at Newmar were short handed and were not able to source the part in time. Small leak but needs to be repaired. The major leaks in coolant system addressed successfully.

    Add-More RV Park Clarksville IN

Interesting stop north side of Louisville KY. Just a gravel lot convenient to the highway I65. Friendly staff/owner. Good hookups. Pond view. Well run, some highway noise. Great for a quick overnight. Turn in off main road looks scary on the GPS but easily accessible in any size rig. Low...

Question Oasis burner request AC element?

Testing out the Oasis heat this morning. Sounds like burner is operating but it appears the Oasis has required AC elements to keep up? It is only 64f outside and the Oasis is struggling to heat the main cabin?

    Question ATC Override use?

Regarding the ATC Override switch. What does it accomplish specifically and when would you use it. https://www.spartaner.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/MJM-2019-Wabco-ABSATCESC.pdf

Question Noticed a salad plate size puddle

Noticed a puddle of Orange fluid under the DutchStar when we pulled out of storage. Keeping an eye out for more drips on the way to the Mothership. Nothing unusual on the guages on the wsy up so far. My guess is coolant but willl look at levels in the morning. Thoughts?

    FYI Basement Freezer Refrigerator option

Initially I thought that this option might be overkill for our travel but have since experienced just how great an option this has become. If you travel longer than a weekend this is a must have item.

FYI Becoming wary of traveling outside of state

Planning our trip north to Nappanee, leaving Monday. Our first stop is Creekfire Campground. Talking with the front desk there, they readily admit there is a theft problem in the county and at the campground. With the theft issues clearly present at Creekfire Campground in GA, and the night...

FYI Finally broke down and bought a wireless air pump

Purchased a DEWALT wireless air compressor. Just too convenient to pass up. I’ll report back on experience with it. Reason I went with DEWALT is most of my wireless tools are DEWALT so have all the batteries I need.

    FYI Trip to the Mothership

We have finally set the plans for the trip to the MotherShip for next week. The Route has changed slightly. We are headed up I95 to Savanna to visit CreekFire Resort for the first time, then on to I16 to I75 to our typical stop outside of Chattanooga. Should be a fun experience. Looking for an...

FYI Poured in n 7.5 gallons of Blue DEF

Well this was an experience. Very slowly pouring stuff. Gained experience and exercise. Know how if needed in an emergency situation in the future. Not interested in this method as a regular routine.

    Question Fiesta Key

Anyone know how Fiesta Key RV resort and area handled the storm? Looks like Key West is ok, some damage but a few days of repair should get them back in action. We are scheduled to attend the KK election vent in mid December.

    Question Tint vs Magna Shade

We are back to struggling with the issue of limiting the glare and IR/UV coming in the front windshield. The potential of a Magna Shade is nice, once up, for the campground but does not help in transit. I prefer not to wear sun glasses as it makes it hard to read gauges/GPS, at times, in the...

Question Parking/Camping on the south side of Jacksonville

Headed up to Mayo for a couple of days. Avoiding hotels, and parking at Mayo, while available, is not what we want. Thoughts?

    Alert Always a surprise

Now that we have a comfortable space to do maintenance of RV, I have been wandering around checking off items of concern. Vacuum filter, not installed correctly at factory! Front hood rubbing on paint. Extended bumpers so hood no longer touches painted surface when latched. Etc.
