    Harvest Host review "Starr Brothers Brewery" in New Mexico

    I stopped for an overnight here on our way to the Grand Canyon for our first extreme hike (video coming), so I figured I would do a quick review for those thinking of overnighting there.

    What campground membership do you have and how are they?

    We are big boondocking fans vs RV parks. So Harvest Hosts w the golf course option works great for us. Since some HH sites have noise/generator restrictions, our RV has solar panels and works great there.

    @sheridany have you considered Harvest Hosts? Safer in my opinion and a great experience visiting wineries, golf courses, etc. I've been to a few in great destinations out in the country with great views, very private and isolated, also some that were busy wineries and enjoyable.

    Peggy Sues 50’s Diner, Barstow, CA Great harvest host location. Trucks parked around me and I ran the gen all night. Great location and food and easy on-off the interstate. Cellular internet really good.

    Thousand Trails if you in the midwest and do a lot of travel in the midwest is worthless. I signup for Passport American only if we going to stay in one that will save us more than the membership cost.     RV Parks Occupancy

    Jim, we're finding the same results. A few parks are close to capacity on Friday and Saturday and then 50% or less during the week. I wonder if prices are changing? Since I made reservations months ago, I have know way of knowing. We've already decided next year we will not make reservations...

    Welcome @Golfnut to RVForums. Might look into Harvest Host and the golf course subscription, stay in the parking lot and play the course.
