Where were you with your NEWMAR today?

They are 750 watt folding fat tire bikes from BPM Imports. We used to put them in the back of our suv. We now use a Thule Easyfold bike rack on the back of the motorhome. I use a Roadmaster 10” drop/rise dual receiver adapter for the bike rack and our tow bar. We love the setup and the bikes.

    Bumper Stability

I have a 2020 Freedom Express Ultralite 196RBS. I want to mount a bike rack (two bikes) on the 4x4 bumper. I understand the standard stock bumper is not constructed to handle anything being mounted on it. So I am planning to purchase a stronger bumper and having it installed along with extra...

My bike is a Dyna Street Bob. No bags, no cowling, just a basic down and dirty six speed with a 103. Weighs about 700 pounds. Traveled up and down the east coast and regularly through the mountains of West Virginia. To take it with me on the coach, I would put it on a rack with hydraulic or...

    Tip Apple AirTags

For a bike, probably useless. In big cities, for instance, that bike is dissembled and dispersed, within a few hours of it being stolen. And the smart operations likely move the disassembly location around, for that reason. secondly, it seems that police in these places don't care about such...

    E-Bike update?

We just purchased the Lectric XP Lite that weighs 46lbs just for the same reason. We find these bikes perfect for us with our Tiffin Wayfayer. We can mount on our hitch Tule bike rack or we can fold it up and put in Rv. For the price and quality I believe you will truly enjoy the flexibility...

Freedom Express 192RBS Bumper Weight Limit

OK. A couple of things. One of the concerns is tong weight. Add 150 to the back will change the tong weight considerably. If you do this for bikes the wind pattern won't change much but other items may. It will be important to verify tong weight and make sure 10% of trailer weight is still on...

What size bike? You know the question I have may not fit this thread but you kind of brought it up. I have seen most city buses with bike racks on front. Why don't I see any lets say 250cc bikes on the front of a MH?

    Question Bike Rack Recommendation

I have 2 folding fat tire ebikes and no longer wanted to put them inside my suv. I wanted a bike rack setup where I could easily move the bike rack from the suv to the rig while on the road and when we know we’re not going to use the bikes for a few days. I decided on the heavy duty Thule...

    E-Bike update?

Thank you for your reply. That sounds like it would work. My new motor home came with a bike rack built on the back. The rail’s about 30” off the ground, I will need to work with that .

Alert WARNING: Using a bike cover while on a bike rack while driving can KILL someone

I'm glad I just stumbled on this post. I just ordered a bike rack and will be carrying three light weight road bikes on it. I went back and forth trying to decide whether to cover them or not and finally decided not to just thinking of what could happen, and you just solidified it for me not to...

From everything I've read the front axle of a class A is usually the one that is over loaded and at max capacity, mostly due to the weight of the generator.. If that's true then I think hanging another 300-400 lbs off the front bumper might be the last thing you'd want to do. And remember the...

    Bumper Stability

Wow! Do we have an engineer that wants to run the numbers? I always over build. I sit back and consider as many factors as I can. You know, weight, wind, what kind of terrain I travel, and the occasional pot hole I don't miss. The short! over build.

    Spare Tire?

Spare Tire - Need or recommend getting one? If desired, how can it be carried? Is there some kind of bike rack/spare tire carrier?

    RVing with E-Bikes

I have taken several 5 day 350 mile old style bike trips with all the gear packed on. It was great fun in my younger years and nice to do with my sons and their cousins. Now at 59 I'll take my DelSol E-Bike every time. My wife and I travel with ours on a nice rack and we have a great time...

Alert WARNING: Using a bike cover while on a bike rack while driving can KILL someone

That sure was close. I carry my electric bike and a electric scooter on a flat carry rack that fits in the hitch. It has 2 rounded steel brackets (one on each side) that comes up and secures over the tire of each bike. I then bungee they together. I use my bike cable lock to lock them to the...

    E-Bike update?

Ed If you’ve looked and considering the Lectric XL Lite, I think you can pull the trigger and not be disappointed. This is a very solid built little machine. It folds to a really neat little package that can almost get lost in a big rig storage bay (big “almost”). I would have already bought...
