Alert TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER STEMS MAY CAUSE VALVE STEM FAILURE!

...you say you've gone120k miles, I've got a gut-feeling that you've 1) replaced your stems with metal ones, or 2) have been very fortunate and/or have been routinely replacing your stems; not a common practice in many tire shops, ever since the advent of factory TPMS sensors requiring specialy...

TPMS Issues - Gen 1 -- NHTSA Recall Campaign

I use the EEZ TPMS as well. I have the old monitor and want to upgrade to the new color one. Do you have it and/or like it? Thanks.

Looking for a TPMS for Class A

I did not set up my toad with in dash TPMS. They say you can buy extra tire sensors and you can incorporate them with your system, but I have yet to run across anybody who has done it yet. I may look into Tire Tracker for my Jeep Sahara toad instead. HH

Welcome aboard! If you have a black tank clean out hookup I would also get a dedicated hose for back flushing it as well. Basic tools to work on a RV to keep in the underbelly. If it did not come equipped with TPMS…..to me a must have no questions asked.

    Eez tire pressure monitor systems

I have Eez tpms for about 15 years. I pull my Jeep behind the motorhome. While off-roading I air down the tires and air up when back on the hard road. Dealing with the tpms sensors was a pain. On off on off. So I drilled a hole for a second air valve on the rims. These air valve were drilled on...

Question Rettroband - are they worth it?

...overs. Most of them happen in the hot Nevada type enviroment. What I am getting at, If you do not have a coach with factory a installed TPMS system, I would highly recommend one. Reguardless if factory installed or aftermarket, maintain it and pay attention to it. Other than stricking...

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

…and because it is only reading high on the inside duals, it really seems like it‘s indicating high heat there that is caused by some factor other than tires or the TPMS.

    TPMS

I would be shocked if any TTs or other RV priced under $400,000 come with any type of TPMS.

Did it come with a built in TPMS and maybe someone didn't disable the toad sensors?

    Toad tire temps

Right. Too much can cause the wrong action to take. I didn’t adjust the pressures. My pressures were the same measured with a gauge versus the tpms set to tire spec. As the drive went on I was watching the temperature rising and it made me wonder what is the max. I need to reset my temp...

...time discerning the difference between plug in & hard wire (aside from the theft issue). I did measure the levelers, but great to know I can email them. Def gonna do the TPMS, and unfortunately am gonna have to get new tires….good tread and no signs of dry rot but age….is a B! Thanks so much!

    Tire monitors

...advice. I will add my tow vehicle and trailer to my future posts. My trailer is a Grand Design travel trailer. It is pre-wired with a Lippert TPMS. The Lippert TPMS has a booster/extender that is hard wired into the trailer electrical system. The other systems use alligator clips to connect...

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

OEM TPMS is useless. I ignore it and have TST TPMS that I use. I am pretty sure the antenna issue was addressed by Spartan previously. Sounds like you have a plan which will get it addressed. I would see about getting the coached weighted it sounds like your rear tires maybe over inflated...

    TPMS vs Tire Pressure Gauge

...a known-good gauge, which happens to agree with another known-good gauge. Then the TireTrakr sensors usually show +/- 2% or so. The purpose of a TPMS is to verify that your tires aren't low and to alarm at a rapid decrease in pressure or increase in temperature, not to act as an accrurate...

    Tire Monitoring System

TPMS = tire pressure monitoring system not static tire pressure check. The TPMS purpose is to detect changes in tire pressures and tire temp providing a warning to driver something is not correct and should be addressed. a "Warning" usually associated with safety. I think possibly you just...

Newmar / K2 Spartan air bag replacement

...drive wheels. Acid cleaned the polished wheels. And, of course, one of the polish wheels fell over and snapped the valve stem off as the TPMS sensor exposed the stem to the pavement. So, the tire bead had to be removed from the wheel to fit a new stem...and while doing that, it became...

    Tire pressures experience

...weigh the coach, preferably each side of each axle, then use the higher weight of each axle for both tires on that axle. Then set your TPMS to alarm at 10 psi low to account for colder days, and 25psi high to account for warming while driving. Find your correct tire pressure after weighing in...
