    TPMS

Unless its prepped for an OEM tpms I can't imagine. I use the TST system and it is the monitor and in my situation, 12 tire monitoring. https://tsttruck.com/507-series-8-flow-thru-sensor-tpms-system-color-display-and-repeatertst-507-ft-8-c.html

Valve stem extender issue on Freightliner/Accuride wheels, again!

They do wear out eventually. Mine have been onfor five years. I just got new tires and the re-installed the old extenders. The no longer worked the the pass thru tpms sensors. He replaced them with new ones which work fine.

FYI 2017 Chevy Colorado "Tire monitor system" message (TPMS sensor failure)

...the only way to go; especially for off-road vehicles. I’ve had a few friends develop leaks at the base of the rubber stems after using external TPMS sensors when they tow their Jeep. I found HUF makes good stems as well as sensors that they will preprogram for your vehicle. This is one...

    TPMS Recommendation

Is there a way to monitor OEM in wheel sensors with an aftermarket TPMS reader/screen? The Ford Flex has in wheel TPMS sensors and I'd like not to add extra valve stem sensors in order to read tire air pressure from the RV. I wonder if an EEZ system can be programmed to read the OEM sensor?

    Newmar King Aire fire

...I think the take away from this incident is to use your engine brake, keep your speed under control, monitor tire temps with a good TPMS, and pull over if needed to let things cool down. I had a time when heading east from a winter in AZ where I hit hot southern TX and had high pressure...

    TPMS vs Tire Pressure Gauge

My gauge and TPMS pretty much agree with the obvious caveat that the readout on the TPMS is to the lb and the gauge is a little more of a rough approximation. I also spent a lot of time getting each side within 1lb of each other on the TPMS which is probably excessive. But if we obsess on tire...

TPMS Issues - Gen 1 -- NHTSA Recall Campaign

Who is the manufacturer of the TPMS system of concern? Are these TPMS sensors in tire mounted or stem mounted? Flow thru or cap type? We are integrating with TireView and TSTechnology branded TPMS hardware. Is there a repeater in the Newmar spec'd system? Is it CAN or RV-C protocol? BTW, we now...

    TPMS Recommendation

Silly question...doesn't Newmar Class A come with a TPMS monitor system??

    TPMS Recommendation

My understanding is they come with valor tpms but that might have changed.

    Dash speakers

I have no sound on the dash , radio, or Trip Tix. It is not muted. Radio is on and trip tix works but my TPMS only flashes when out of perimeters. Is there a fuse for just sound somewhere? Your thoughts are appreciated.

    TPMS Recommendation

Might be an answer here. https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/display-to-read-tpms-data-from-factory-style-sensors.213893/

    Tire pressure

Haha, nope, I let my TST Truck TPMS come online and review all pressures.

Check your tires every travel day!

...to 80s in the afternoon has caused an Over Pressure alarm on a front tire. I’ll wait until morning and adjust cold pressure again before heading South. Adjusting the TPMS alarm threshold might help but not my preferred method. Notice this is more common when speed average creeps above 65 mph.

    TPMS vs Tire Pressure Gauge

When I chatted with this long about with TST Truck (my TPMS manufacturer) he mentioned a 4% error

    Question Can't look away.

Yeah, TPMS is in the future, but first I have to take care of the other issues that I've posted in several other places on this forum.

Alert TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER STEMS MAY CAUSE VALVE STEM FAILURE!

Some - *SOME* - TPMS installed on your vehicle already have brass stems for the internal sensors. Have a professional after market TPMS installer check your stems to see if you need them replaced with brass-lined stems.

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

I have the same issue with the onboard TPMS, I run TST TPMS so just ignore the onboard system. Three attempts by Spartan to correct unsuccessfully

    Spartan chassis owners, be aware.

...to be resolved which I'm sure will be a good outcome as I have faith in those involved. This thread will remain open for any developing updates that people want to share as we learn of them. Edit: The Spartan TPMS issue (not sure if both vendors were affected) was another example. It takes...
