@Neal “Very nice @BuckyII. Show me that multi-colored print :)”
This a scoring device for 6 Wicket Croquet. On the left is the base with 5 colors of PETG filament. On the right is the finished product comprised of the base, 12 sliders and a snap on cover. All 3D printed.
Although it took a while, the end results are great. I now have 2 identical printers. I thought I might end up using one primarily for TPU/PLA and the other for ASA, but I can easily do any filament on either. Based on what I've read on the forums, I'm happy with the decision to stick with...
We purchased this unit in 2019...Naples FL

It was terrific for the RV and when we sold the RV it became my workshop.

@Neal I feel your pain. These things can be so frustrating one day and rewarding the next. As I write this, I'm upgrading my original MK3S to a MK4S. Doing most of my printing now on the MK4S (purchased last year) and decided it would be good to have two identical printers. Interesting you...
Looks impressive! I really like my MK4S (with enclosure), but by the time the Core ONE ships maybe I'll be tired of it or need an additional printer. They say it's not a replacement for the MK4S, but I'm not sure why anyone would opt for the MK4S when this is available. My MK3 still works...
Morning fellow Geek...
Whenever something excites you this much, I have to check it out. WHAT have you been missing...what are the most significant differences?
Hope you're doing well.

@Neal ...Great video! Thanks. Reminded me of much of my 3D printing journey. I'd stumbled on to Gridfinity at some point but need to spend more time checking it out. I think she mention a Fusion 360 add-in for designing boxes? Did you happen to get the name?
YES! @Neal thanks for asking. Well worth the time and effort. I only had one small issue to correct before printing with perfection...had to adjust the Y Belt tension.
Such a difference...quality of prints, ease of changing filaments and the enclosure makes a big difference. I have not...
@Neal...FInally pulled the trigger. Am in the middle of assembling the MK4/Enclosure Kits. I had forgotten how many parts are involved in the assembly! Hope to be up and running by the end of the week.
I designed something that requires a filament other than PLA. Have gone through PETG...
@Neal
The X1 Carbon looks terrific...wish I was in the market, would be fun to try and rationalize that purchase!
Just before Christmas I printed this to use for presenting a gift to my Granddaughters:

Hi @Neal Happy New Year.
Sorry to report...I ended up cancelling the order (The long lead time provided too much time to second guess myself). Therefore, I can't offer any glowing reports on how wonderful it is...you can't blame it on me!
@Neal I pulled the trigger today on the MK4 (Kit)....Cyber Monday deal with free shipping and some freebees. Delivery is 5-6 weeks which is okay (busy with Christmas projects) ...after receipt will be putting my MK3 up for sale. The MK4 seems to be more reliable, easier to service and the Wi-Fi...
@Neal I've been using the personal license since they went that route (has it been 3 years already?). It has not been an issue for me.
I usually have 8-10 active at any time. When I need to create something new and am at the limit, I just make a couple of the actives that haven't been used...
