YES! @Neal thanks for asking. Well worth the time and effort. I only had one small issue to correct before printing with perfection...had to adjust the Y Belt tension.
Such a difference...quality of prints, ease of changing filaments and the enclosure makes a big difference. I have not...
@Neal...FInally pulled the trigger. Am in the middle of assembling the MK4/Enclosure Kits. I had forgotten how many parts are involved in the assembly! Hope to be up and running by the end of the week.
I designed something that requires a filament other than PLA. Have gone through PETG...
@Neal
The X1 Carbon looks terrific...wish I was in the market, would be fun to try and rationalize that purchase!
Just before Christmas I printed this to use for presenting a gift to my Granddaughters:

Hi @Neal Happy New Year.
Sorry to report...I ended up cancelling the order (The long lead time provided too much time to second guess myself). Therefore, I can't offer any glowing reports on how wonderful it is...you can't blame it on me!
@Neal I pulled the trigger today on the MK4 (Kit)....Cyber Monday deal with free shipping and some freebees. Delivery is 5-6 weeks which is okay (busy with Christmas projects) ...after receipt will be putting my MK3 up for sale. The MK4 seems to be more reliable, easier to service and the Wi-Fi...
@Neal I've been using the personal license since they went that route (has it been 3 years already?). It has not been an issue for me.
I usually have 8-10 active at any time. When I need to create something new and am at the limit, I just make a couple of the actives that haven't been used...
@Joe Hogan ...
I own a unit at Naples Motor Condos 20' x 52' 12' wide door and 20' ceiling height. It has A/C, 50 amp and plumbing with sewage. Most of the units here are 25' x 50' with 14' wide doors.
IMO 50' length is the minimum you should consider and although 20' wide works, 25' is...
@Neal We stayed at Hearthside in 2018,19 & 20...used Superior at least twice and were happy with them. They are in the resort every day doing coaches and have 2-4 person crews...thus, they can do multiple coaches each day. No experience with the other.
Looks interesting...easier to use (if it works). Not sure it's worth giving up what I know works and how to use for some newer technology. I looked at used MK3s prices on Ebay...can still get decent $.
Yes, PITA. Each time I have to replace, it's like starting over...watch the video and go step by step. It IS satisfying once it is all done and working properly.
Morning @Neal Enclosure looks interesting. Couple questions...
Does the filament reel reside inside the enclosure?
Is there room for more than one reel?
Is there a provision for feeding filament through a hole from the back?
Have you finished assembly? If so, what are your thoughts...happy...
@ManlyMan We do not plan to purchase another RV. We had our coach for 4 years, traveled during the summers for a total of about 11 months and covered 35,000 miles. It was a great experience...we were able to visit family, friends, meet people and see this wonderful country while comfortably...
