Horrible accident. Did you catch the towed vehicle heading down the road, going the wrong way, in the right lane just after the impact? Hopefully that didn't hit anyone head on.
I think it is really a way for businesses to totally price gouge customers (and people renting out their homes like airBnb). I read where one national hotel chain normally charges $124/ night and on the night prior to this eclipse it's like $1400+. Isn't there a law against that?
If those switches absolutely sever every circuit attached to those banks you should be fine. I have read that there are several parasitic draws on the batteries that will deplete them over a short time.
@Jim Yes, those are relays. My concern is why are they warm/hot when the system should be off. They should only get hot when current is flowing through them.
Do you have a pic of the HWH control panel you have?
I was also kind of wondering if you are actually talking about the hydraulic solenoids that screw into a distribution header of the system and not the relays that controls power to the HWH system. There are two HD relays that control power to the system. The hydraulic solenoids are round and...
Do you make sure the HWH system is "Off" when not in use, like when driving or when you have the key in ACC but not using the HWH? Leaving the control panel on may keep the one solenoid on, but I would think it shouldn't. Which HWH system do you have? 725?
Yup, you need a good ground to the HWH pump assembly. I had a common ground lug that a lot of grounds were connected to and it was just below the pump assembly - it was sheared off (my pump assy is installed just in front of the rear bumper, so who knows how that happened). Once I found that and...
Are you having trouble closing the FWS? How long does it take to close the FWS? I think if the solenoid is left active more than a minute or two they will "warm to the touch" and if left active a long time they can burn up the windings. Example is if you have a lazy jack that takes a long time...
I use the bubble wrap insulation and cut it to fit. If one layer isn't enough use 2. I also cut to fit on the driver and passenger windows. Works pretty good but it does block out all light.
As far as propane, it does go fast when using the furnace in my coach.
Another thing to remember is that an RV is a rolling earthquake. If you don't fix it right it'll crack and possibly fall out one day from the stress it has undergone during travel.
Leaving the sewer hose connected and the grey open will certainly welcome sewer flies into your home. You hope all your traps are wet but if one isn't, they're inside your house.
About once a year when I'm at TT Orlando I call Jose at 5 star Detailing 4077188082. Last price I got was $10 ft wash, wax, wheels. He did great job on our LA.
