    Basement A/C charging

    Hi, I’m new to the forum and I hope we have some DIY’ers I can pick their brains. I have a 2007 Itasca Suncruiser ( just bought in May) and the basement and cab air are both not producing cool enough air. What is the DIY way of charging the basement system and what type of Freon is standard ?

    basement heat pump 2004 Itasca compressor blown

    So I have a 2004 34' Horizon Itasca 330HP Cat Diesel Pusher and the basement coleman AC/Heat Pump bit the dust, compressor shorted out and damaged the PC Board Apparently since it uses freon its too old and nobody will work on it or replace the parts.
