We are on our first trip with our 2021 Bay Star Sport 3008. The 12v outlet on the dash has no power, with ignition on or off. I checked the fuse panel and I don’t see a fuse for it. I thought maybe it was part of another system but everything accessible from the dash functions. Any ideas where the fuse might be?

Also, this is the first vehicle I have had in many years with an exposed gas cap. I know today’s gas caps are part of the emission system. Is there a specific locking gas cap I need?

Thanks, Jim

Jim,
You will have to get to the back of the cigarette lighter receptacle. Including my coach, I see many others are improperly wired. When I was fixing mine, I noticed some inline fuses buried behind the dash.
In your case it may be inline fuse
Dead wire connected to the outlet or
Disconnected wire at the back
Without some hands on investigation it is hard to guess exactly.

Yep, my hunch same as above, the wire on the back could have disconnected. It's just a spade connection. If you can get to the back of it just make sure the wires are connected (2).
