Question 2002 Monaco Windsor. Roadside slide front end won't move-rear OK

While bringing in my roadside slide it bound because the metal awning cover didn't go over the top. Now the slide won't come in on the front but does on the rear. Can push the front in and out manually to keep up with rear. Dumb move on my part not letting the water drain off awning but first time out this year and forgot to check. Any suggestions on re-enaging the front gear on slide?
