I recently lost power to the house section of my motor home. The house battery tests fine, I have replaced all fuses on the battery connection solenoid and in line between the power disconnect switch. Still no luck. My generator will not fire either. I plan to connect it to shore power tonight to see if that works....is there a way to reset the power disconnect switch or a hidden relay that can be reset to fix the issue?

Hopefully you are not far from the dealer.

If you are not connected to shore power you will not have power to outlets, microwave,tv,radio,ac,or anything that runs on electricity. You do need shore power to use that side of the motorhome. Your lights run on 12 volt. Most electronics need 110 volts to operate.

Ended up not working on shore power either. My converter and the battery connection solenoid were fried. Replaced them and now I’m good to go.
