I have a 2016 forest river 335ds
Will 22.5x8 work and what size tires would I run
Thanks it advance

somewhere in your coach is a placard from the manufacturer that will show tire sizes, GVW, etc. Typically located in or near the cockpit. Otherwise contact the manufacturer.

8” rims are for wider tires like 315/70 and up. If you have 22.5 rims now they would fit but you might encounter clearance issues. If you have 19.5 rims (more likely) the answer is no. Generally speaking, the rims that came on the chassis are the right size for it. The only reason to go bigger is to handle a bigger load, and then you’d probably exceed your axle rating.

Here are a couple comparisons. The first shows the difference between OE tires on the 20,500 chassis (most likely yours) which runs 19.5” rims, and the smaller tire size for the chassis that comes with 22.5”. But those 22.5” rims are 7.5”.

The second comparison is between the OE 19.5” tires that come on the 20,500 chassis, and 315/70 22.5” tires which would be a proper fit for 8” rims. As you can see, even if they bolted up, you would encounter other problems.
