I get nothing but a dark screen in reverse, blinkers on or when I push the camera button. I think the video camera switch CVS300-01 has failed. Can I test it? Can I replace it with a CVS300-01B? I’m not a electrician at all but can do basic repairs. Thank for any help

Welcome to RVForums @RonJayne. I don't know the details of your item but it does sound like a camera failure.

I believe that video switcher CVS300-01 is a River Park unit. I would call River Park (800-442-7717) and describe your symptoms. It does sound like a failed switcher. If so, the River Park techs should be able to tell you whether the CVS300-01B is the appropriate replacement. I am suspecting it is.

Thank you for the advise River Park tech (Larry) was very helpful.
Larry suggested test the power to the switch unit using blinkers and reverse but said likely with my symptoms the unit failed, but test first. He also said the CVS300-01B was the same as the CVS300-01 with a 12v and 8v switch. He suggested buy the -1B and use 12v. Thanks again, I’ll let you know how it goes.
Cheers
Ron
