Has anyone replaced their factory installed (king) with a adjustable one.

We replaced ours, but not with an adjustable mattress

I'm looking at toppers for ours. I dread figuring out how to drag the existing mattress out. It seems unused anyhow.

1. Slide a pair of zip ties under the mattress at the head of the bed
2. Starting at the foot of the bed, roll the mattress into a tight roll moving towards the head of the bed. You’ll probably want another person to help with this and make it easier.
3. With the mattress rolled up at the head of the bed, wrap the zip ties around it and secure the mattress
4. With the mattress secured into a roll shape, add another zip tie in the center
5. Carry out your rolled up mattress by the zip ties. Toss on curb. Kick several times for good measure.

Wow, I wonder if that would work with this mattress - I've not considered the possibility! Thanks! This group is great.

You could also use ratchet straps if you have those on hand.

We aren’t talking about the foam kind here. Had one of those in our home and it’s stored in vacuum type bag. I’m talking a big/heavy stiff one. But with that said. Looking at R5 Sleep Number.

Sorry, didn’t meant to hijack your thread. Was your “what” and exclamation of exasperation or were you asking what we replaced our factory original mattress with?

No problem. Found lots of info after I took the time to search previous threads
