1. We're traveling from Waldport, OR KOA to Crescent City KOA, CA on US 101, in our 32 ft class C towing a Honda CRV. Still on the 101 we'll be headed towards San Francisco. Are there any obstacles we should know about?
2. What is the best entrance to go in to Yosemite NP? Safest route there? Camping nearby? We'll be coming from Sacramento.

You shouldn't have any problems. It's a beautiful drive (as long as you don't encounter any fog). Once you head south from Crescent City you may want to check out the Avenue of the Giants. There are some mighty big trees around there.

Safe Travels

We‘ve found there is very little traffic on 101 in that area on weekdays this time of year - a very nice drive. You might also consider the Lighthouse Cove RV park in Crescent City - very pleasing - walk to restaurants, the lighthouse, dog park, people park, marina, indoor city pool etc. Also if you have e-bikes lock them up when not in view.
