Well we finally picked up the RV. Super excited. One of the many items that the dealer tried to sell us after market was a clear protective coat. It's $1500.00 and they claim that it will keep the paint lasting longer, makes it easier to clean and last about 5 years. Sorry, I don't know the name. Does anyone have any experience with this.? Is it worth it? Anything else we can do that is less expensive?
Appreciate any help
thanks so much
L

Welcome @lahad1 and I too was almost scammed with the same nonsense. The answer is NO, don't do it. Wax it and you're all set.

I got bitten by that on the last MH. It was just something they sprayed on while I did the final paperwork. Phooeey!
