Hi, New Aleko Awning install. With the closed awning measurments on my awning 70" my bottom mounts don't hit a stud. Can I mount it there somehow and is so, what would you use. I don't feel like the thin outer shell of a Fleetwood Class C would hold up to the stresses. Can that area be reinforced?
Down about 8" is a horizontal stud I could mount to. Can you travel with the arms not fully telescoped in, but locked in position? Maybe 5-6 clicks up on both sides would allow the lower mount to bolt into the stud. Seems like a better solution to me. Thanks everyone.
