Interesting, but I never have, I just use the old Click style torque wrenches (have two for foot lbs and one for inch lbs made by Snap On).
 
I had not seen them, in HF yesterday.... I will be checking them out.
 
Those look like the ones that caught my eye at Sears. Yes, years ago. I was about to buy some when Snap On talked me into one of theirs that also did angle torques. I still cringe a bit at the price but almost all my other torque wrenches (six) have fallen by the wayside in favor of the digital ones. I know some folks who have used that style if not that exact brand and they work just fine. I'd use them if I hadn't already vested in another style. I see no reason why they wouldn't serve just as well as the stupid expensive ones.
 
They work well and are cheap enough to leave behind. Plus I get a 20% discount on top of the price. (got all 3)
