Welcome @HaL to RVFORUMS, glad you found us. Looks like you may have an issue with your thermostat that you are looking for help with. It would be best if you started a new thread specific to your issue and if you could tell us a little more information (year, make and model of RV) we might be able to help.

It has been a long time since I've been around an Atwood thermostat, but IIRC the screen will show "Lb" (not "L6" though it kinda looks like it) for "low battery." I think those T-stats used a battery that needs to be replaced periodically. This info has been dredged up from deep in the back of a very old brain, so may be a bit suspect but I think I'm correct.

As @NWIP pointed out, we could sure use some more information in order to help pinpoint the problem.

There is no battery in my thermostat. The first thing I did was take the cover off and look. Other people have had the same problem and said it was the controller in the a/c. My problem is intermittent. It will work sometimes, then starts flashing between the temp and lb. Thanks for the input though. I appreciate it.

Might not be the T-Stat, you might want to look at the wiring, corrosion or loose wire. If it is intermittent, note the outside temp next time. If you are calling for A/C, it might be an A/C controller.

...after checking for loose or corroded wiring, I checked my house battery connections and found they were a few turns shy of tight. Since then, my A/C, heat pump and furnace have been working fine. I'm thinking the voltage going to the thermostat was low. It's been a couple of days with no more problems. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
