Looking at a set of 6 tires 245/70/19.5 for my Class A RIG w/Ford F53 chassis . The two shops in my town can't even get Michelin tires (seems to be a shortage). I was offered Bridgestone at one shop for 2600 and Prinx at the other shop for 1500. One thing the Prinx tire shop stated was they use "balancing beads". Is this a red flag? or totally fine?

Have no personal experience with beads but understand they are used in the industry. I have read that they can plug up various tire pressure monitoring systems and that there are screens that can be used to prevent this issue.

Don’t think there is any serious problem using beads. Used them on our previous coach for many years with no ill effects.
