I have a 2021 Gulfstream Enlighten 18bh and was wondering about the ball size for towing? It’s not listed on the Camper.

When in doubt, take a close look at the hitch ball socket. It should have the ball size stamped into the metal adjacent to it.

I can't believe a small single axle camper with a gross weight of only 3300 lbs would use a 2 5/16" ball. You could pull that with a half ton pickup truck. That's the ball size for a class 5 hitch like we put on the back of Ram 5500's with a 20K pound rating!! Talk about over kill. Wow! A 2" ball would be plenty with a class 3 hitch. But if it's got a 2 5/16" hitch ball socket then I guess that's the size you have to use.
