I just got a 2007 Komfort 282 (it came with the land purchase) and I'm pretty sure there's' a battery disconnect but I cant find it. The manual says "when the switch is pushed in, the power is cut", without a diagram. There's no lever shutoff at the battery terminals. The batteries are fully charged, and I get power using the 30amp plug in, but I still can't seem to get power from the batteries. I'm looking for help with getting the DC power going and other RV tips. Thanks, Alex.

Many times a battery disconnect switch is used. It is a momentary contact switch that operates a solenoid. The solenoid might be anywhere but usually close to the batteries. The switch may be harder to find. Usually you can hear it clack when the button is pushed.

as we enter the coach to the left by the passenger seat is a panel with switches on it for inside, outside, basement lights, steps and house battery disconnect this a push/ rocker switch when you push this it lights a small green LED indicating power is present. I hope this helps our coach is an Coachman 2007 Encore 40TS. Maybe you will have a similar set up.

I would add that we just replaced the solenoid on a Newmar and it was not near the batteries but rather in the compartment where the shore power line and reel were. Not to mention many other relays and fuses. On the Newmar they were well labeled.
