Suggestions for best travel route for class A towing trailer from SD I90 into Cody WY
Probably too late to answer your post, but just in case.

We just came from Cody. Last week we traveled up from the Denver area. Even though we didn't come across from I-90 we were on some of the same routes you will want to utilize.

US-20 us to Greybull is a great road with little or no grades to speak of. US-14 going over to Cody is also a good road with commercial traffic. We did not use US-16 but if you check a Trucker's Atlas and it is designated then it would be okay I'm guessing.

Safe travels.
