Tip Beware extended warranty purchase end period

I have been trying for months to buy an extended warranty for my Freightliner chassis and asked 4 times and finally today I am told can’t get one past 30 months.

FCCC Customer Protection Plans give you the option to extend your original factory chassis warranty above and beyond the basic warranty of your vehicle.

Unfortunately, FCCC does not allow Extended Coverage to be to be purchased on an RV Chassis after it has been in-service for 30+ months. In the case of Serial #:HZ6045, it was placed into service roughly 34 months ago on 07/29/2017.

Yes, there is a time limit on adding it, I got in just in time. The fact of the matter is 99% chance you won't need it so don't sweat it but it's affordable so I got it for peace of mind.
