We left Cherry Hills yesterday, and we're spending a few days in the Shenandoah National Park before going to Deer Springs. I'm considering driving some of the Blue Ridge Parkway, but am reluctant to drive the 44 ft on the parkway. I still don't understand why we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway. All advice is welcome.

If you have time, stay a night (or more) in Luray, VA. One of my favorite locations.

@Neal, Have you driven much of the parkway?

In the car quite a few times, not in the coach. Find a CG nearby either in VA or NC and then take the toad.

Luray RV Resort and Campground is on the list of potential stops heading North this year.

Follow Neal's advice!! You do not want to put yourself/coach in a compromising situation!
Better safe than sorry, and you will get much more enjoyment of the beautiful scenery, than just watching the edges of the road, and the camera!
Have fun! Good Luck!

Nice lookouts to pull over on that are typically small on the blue ridge. Also in the NC area, check to see if there are any closures from Hurricane Helene, etc.
