Yesterday the foot pedal on our Dometic Seal Land, broke off where the spring connects to the waste ball, I tried to crazy glue the broken plastic but it wouldn't take and it probably won't stand up to the tension of the spring action, so I figure it needs to be replaced, one thing I should mention is the waste ball is no longer connected, I"m not sure if I can connect it back. I searched for Pedal replacement and it looks like it can be done and the parts are available on Amazon for around $56 but a new toilet can be bought for around $125. I'm wondering which would be the right choice?
Thanks

I rebuilt mine and it wasn't a big deal at all. But if you can get a whole toilet for $125, I say do it. Easy peazy. . . :)

Rebuilt as in took apart? I wasn't aware it can be taken apart, I found a similar thread on another RV forum and it seems according to Dometic the pedals are not replaceable to need to buy a whole new one. Oh well.
