Well we ended up in White River state park for a week. It's been fun. Almost don't want to leave. The ozarks remind me of home.

Having no destination or schedule has apparently been good for me. I've been cooking all of our meals outside on the fire pit, despite frozen mornings.

And I finally got my shorts on and fishing pole in the water.

I saw a diner/hotel in town that's for sale. I might day dream about it for awhile. For now we have a lot of places to explore.

That’s a scene straight from my days as a Boy Scout. Cooking merit badge. The only time in my life anyone told me I could cook. I can eat like a sonuvagun though.
At home I cooked for a living but to see me truly content is to watch me cook anything outside. Two Christmases ago I spent the previous entire week outside smoking hams I'd put up the spring before. Good times ☺️
