Buying an RV and the Thor Chateau 22E seems to be a good fit for us, I have a few questions.

My wife and I have a couple years experience and stopped RV'ing in 2013 for a few reasons, mainly we had too much rig and it was more work than we wanted. Now we are ready to re-enter and I am shopping for a more manageable coach than we previously owned. We are looking at the Thor 22e with the Ford chassis. The set up seems to be perfect and the price is in our budget. I am looking to learn as much as possible about it to confirm it is the one. Three areas I can use assistance are: 1. Would like to learn about owners most common problems 2. best features to have installed. We will be using for 3 day to 4 week outings and we work from home and would be working in the RV often. WiFi is important during the week, kitchen set up is important (we don't use a micro at home), I think the suspension option may be key for me as well. Any input on must haves would be appreciated. 3. Chemicals used in construction and off gassing are important for me to know. I was planning on discussing this with Thor. I want to make sure they are not using formaldehyde for sure. Thank you

If off gasing is a concern, why not look for a used coach? Also, finding a used one with all your bells and wishes list is a better investment.

We were looking for a 22-24' foot Class C. We made weekend trips all over the Midwest. We finally found a used Thor 28 about 10 miles from the house. Bigger than we wanted but a great deal. Suspension - You may want to consider upgrading the suspension. We have a steering stabilizer on ours and the end of July, we are having new front and rear sway bars and Bilstein shocks put on it to help. We are also getting auto levelers installed. I don't know about chemicals used in construction but I'm guessing there are.
