The Newark signed by Newsome will apply to weed eaters, lawn mowers, generators, and other small engines.

It does not include RC cars, model airplanes.

It does not apply to the larger generators found in Newmar diesel coach's as they are 40+ HP

California will outlaw the sale of new gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers and chain saws as early as 2024 under a new law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Gas coaches in the newmar lineup will not allowed in their current size of 5.5KW, as those are 20HP.

Its probably a pretty simple fix to add 6hp to the rating to get past this new law.

There are plenty of good reasons why CA is losing population, lets all hope these bright ideas stay in CA.

I have a few battery powered yard tools. They are not as strong as the gas equivalent.

I prefer the electric variety for my RV, and carry a chainsaw and weed eater. Would never consider using those around the house where real work is required.

I’m not sure what you mean “figure out”. Turn it on and go. EGOs are good for two acres on a set of batteries. Change as required. Or are you asking on how to change the batteries.

As mowers are required to do bigger jobs like golf courses the equipment will change accordingly.
