I was browsing at campground reviews/rv life and a pop up appeared asking if I would participate in a speed test at motorcoach country club. It ran the usual diagnostics upload download but it didn’t discern whether I was plugged into the park WiFi or not. It asked for my location as many sites do and I authenticated. I thought this was interesting but they don’t seem to publish the tests anywhere that I could tell. I wonder what they do with this data?

@sheridany, I think those tests all roll up into the ratings for each carrier they list in the campground’s overview. If you were to submit a review, you will see your particular speed test appended to your review.

I’m finding it a little creepy that RVLIFE tracks where you are and suggests you submit a review for the campground you are at. Surely there is a way to turn that off.

As memory serves, I think the speed cap for most parks is 15MPH!
