Can you add a thermal underbelly yourself?

Hi everyone, we are looking to buy our first used travel trailer in the next 6 months or so for some retirement traveling and would like a thermal package for the belly, in case we are in cold weather (20 degree), this leaves out a lot of campers we like, can you somewhat just insulate the underbelly yourself with insulation on the pipes and so, maybe enclose it with rigid foam?
We are not looking to camp in zero-degree weather but want to have some kind of protection in case we are stuck in it for a couple overnights.
