I’m at ole Bessie prepping her for the soon launch of the big trip. My wireless charge pad under the dash radio isn’t charging my new iPhone 12 Pro Vente with the case on. No problems with this at home. It does work with the case off. So as I change up some music I’m playing from Spotify and as I type this I notice how much lighter the phone is and how much nicer it is to hold. I’ve never been brave enough to go caseless as I sell them in like new condition and they are very expensive. However, I do have AppleCare+ and a tempered glass screen protector. I’m thinking of going bare. What do you do?? Such a difference!!!!

Case. Always a case. Without one, mine won’t stand a chance as I drop them at the cyclic rate. Danged things are slippery.

I just can do it, Neal. I’ve tried but I can’t do it!

in fact, just yesterday, I used my flashlight and ended up dropping my coveted possession down behind the TV lift. Of course, it would land screen down onto one of the lag bolts! ?
Luckily the scant leather case to the brunt with just a snake gash and scrape. But I cringe at the thought of a NEKKID iPhone taking that same trip.

I didn't used to use a case and replaced the phone often. I now use a case. And I just ordered a Faraday cage holster. The website is to political so won't offer where I got it.

I just plug the phone in to charge. Did you get the PD charger yet? Super fast. I've always had hassles with wireless chargers...gave up messing with them. Besides, don't you know they cause Covid? ;-)

PD charger? I use these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P999H4J/?tag=rvf01-20

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GW9S9TB/?tag=rvf01-20

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R9SL1HH/?tag=rvf01-20

I charge while I'm on the computer working. The battery last so long (and I don't use the phone that much) so I'm always fully charged it seems.

USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) chargers charge to 50% within about 30 minutes.
I picked one up like this for my iphone12promax and it's great-any charger with USB-C that says PD is supposed to be this spec:

Cool. Was not aware. ORDERED.

But as you mentioned, I can't get the phone below 50% no matter how much I use it. What a battery life this thing has!
