Does anyone still run a CB radio? There was an old Realistic in the RV when I bought it. I took that out but I have a Midland from days gone by that I'm thinking of installing. For those that have radios, how much chatter is there over the air?

What is a CB radio???

Yep...just installed a new President Mc Kinley in the RV. Great to listen to trucker traffic reports on 19 or 9 for that matter. You do have to sit through a lot of garbage talk though. Not sure why people celebrate their ignorance at times. It is easy to express yourself in reasonable language.

Potty mouth does get old fairly quickly... :)

I prefer the President line of CBs. Though the old standby brands Cobra, Midland, Galaxy, if you are careful, represent good value.

Also have a Ham radio in the rig but that is too involved to operate while in motion.

Always have one. Chatter? Not much, at least in the northeast. The further west I go, it seems some people talk some. Most only talk in a traffic jam or other problem.
