Any cigar aficionados here?

I used to subscribe to a cigar of the month club. They sent me a new variety of 6-8 cigars every month. I only stopped because I had 50 cigars stacked up and really wanted to try the cocktail of the month club. That was awesome too.

At most I maybe smoked one or two a month. But it's closer to one or two a year now.

I really like cigars. It's very relaxing to have a cigar and about 2 fingers of bourbon and sit out by the pool in the evening. Nothing is better.

Just curious. What is the cigar etiquette for camp grounds? I personally will not smoke a cigar if there is anyone else around because I know the smoke drifts and not everyone likes it. But when you think of camp fires the smoke they produce is a lot greater volume and travels just as bad, right? I'm trying to be polite but cigarette smokers seem to care less and so do people with camp fires. Should I not worry about the little bit of smoke from my cigar? Or should I?

We do not smoke (cigars or cigarettes) but appreciate people who do “try to be polite.” (y)

And, we rarely do a wood-burning fire in a campground for the reasons already noted. The world would be a lot better place it everyone practiced ”trying to be polite.” Sadly, in today’s world, it is more often “all about me.”

its not like you're chain smoking them. Cigarette smokers don't care as you said and camp fires are allowed so enjoy your stogie :)

I personally don't care for cigarette smoke but I find cigar smoke and campfire smoke is nice. Last night someone had a campfire. First full day of above freezing temps. I was wanting to dig through my summer clothes box. A cigar by a campfire with Maker's Mark would be nice.

When we had our boat, Friday & Saturday nights were spent with friends, most of who smoked cigars and drank their favorite cocktails(s). At the time, I had a humidor full of cigars from just about everywhere. But then I got to smoking them on a more than weekend basis and decided it was time to stop. That was almost 15 years ago.

I still have the same humidor and it's still full of cigars, although I doubt they would be very good to smoke after all this time. That said, I like the smell of a good cigar (or a pipe) much more than I do cig's.

Yep, this one sounds interesting. :)

I too had a few humidors and at one time about 500 cigars in them keeping at a perfect 70/70. Well, got to be darn crazy how much money I had tied up in them. So I cut back tremendously. Now I have one every so often but do enjoy them.
