At home it's something I do from time to time, vacuum the coils. I imagine it's probably impossible without some level of effort in my coach. Any Newmar types cleaned the refrigerator coils and what's involved if so?

I did. Moved the fridge out, and did a detailed inspection and cleaning using the vacuum.
Also repaired the shoddy Newmar installation . The Fridge was held to the floor by two skinny wood screws that were already broken. I replaced them with 1/4” SS lag bolts.

I can relate to the shoddy installation Bully referred to. Ours started to come out of it's home while driving and the DW had to hold it in place for about the last 5 miles before our stop. Found they glue two aluminum angle pieces to the top of the fridge (I believe without cleaning the surface first) which then attach to a cross brace. On ours, the two pieces came loose from the top of the fridge, and the two small screws were broken. I re glued the brackets with JB Weld and installed lags on the bottom.

So it looks like a fridge R&R at about 5-6 years is a good idea anyway and you can clean the coils while you’re at it. Both would be better done at home under controlled conditions than on the road as lostinfla found out. One more project to add to the list. I thought I was going to have to pull mine during our last trip because the water dispenser stopped flowing, but it turned out to just be frozen.
