We have had our check engine light come on twice in recent trips. First we took it to Cummins and they said "not to worry we cleared the code" Second time we were on the way to Vegas NIRVC. They said "don't worry we cleared the code" Calls to Cummins and Spartan have turned up nothing. They say it has to do with the ABS system. Well I am not comfortable with clearing code! There is a reason for a check engine light! Has anyone experienced this? Maybe I am just to cautious or naïve. LOL

A code signifies a problem. You can also get "false codes" where the computer thinks there is a problem when there really isn't. In either case, there is a problem that needs to be rectified. Period.

Agree with @GypsyR. Certainly should be addressed by Spartan as soon as possible. I have had similar situations and I recall FL having a hard time clearing codes related to a problem on my Ventana. It was okay to drive to the service facility but I would not ignore it or hope it goes away.
