We currently have a Nexus Ghost (think big diesel super c) that tows a bronco. Love the current rig, but it is big. Thinking of possibly downsizing to one of Coachman's new Euro Class A's. The problem with smaller rigs (say 27-30 ft) is that they tend to be built on chassis that won't tow our Bronco. We need a minimum of 6000lbs towing capacity, where most smaller rigs only have between 4k-5klbs. The new Euro models have enough room in the GCWR to tow up to 7klbs. Wondered what folks who currently own a Coachman rig think of them? I am not familiar with Coachman at all, particularly now it is owned by ForestRiver (IIRC). Not sure what kind of an experience I'd be buying into.

We tow a Ford Ranger with our Coachman Concord, 7,500 tow capacity and the truck is just under 4,500.
I’m not sure on the tow capacity of the Euro but seems you should be good. The 7.3 gas is strong and I love it. Plenty of power. Understand you will lose speed on grades, I miss the power of a turbo diesel at times.
We bought during the pandemic and we have had issues, mostly with slides. Our rig was one of the last off the Concord line and they just pushed it out.
Over all I do not think Coachman is a bad choice. No more than another brand. All will have some issues, my opinion. Good luck and happy shopping!

I looked the Euro over on line and I do not see tow capacity. Is this built on an E450 chassis or F53. Seems smaller than the F53.
Found it F53.

Like you, I believe all RVs have issues and for the most part, I tend to fix things that go wrong and simply chalk it up to the RV experience. Thanks for your observations on the 7.3 gas engine. I love the torque of diesel, and had wondered about changing to a gas engine. I also am happy that the Euro is built on the F53 chassis, which I think is a much better choice than the E450.

From your experience, it sounds like you haven't had a really bad experience with Coachman and it seems like you haven't had really serious problems. That information is really helpful. Thank you!

We had a 2014 Forester for six years before upgrading to our super c.

It was the E450 chassis with the v10 and the hitch had been upgraded to 7500 towing capacity.

She was a good coach with no issues during the time we owned it other than the engine and house batteries needing replaced.

One thing we did which made all the difference in the world was add Liquid Springs to the rear. The difference in ride and handling was nothing short of amazing. It was worth every penny even though we didn’t keep it in the long run.

They do make it for different chassis. Not inexpensive but something to research if you want a better ride and handling.
