Summertime is a'comin. I like drinking cold brewed coffee in the summer for a refreshing beverage. I typically get the Starbucks variations from the grocery store. Anyone make their own? If so, care to share how?

No, no, no, no, no. NO!

I used to make cold brew and heat it up.

1-qt mason jar with lid, fill with water, add appropriate amount of coffee. (For me, I think it was about 4 tablespoons, course ground). Adjust to taste for subsequent batches. I'd set it on the counter for about 4 hours, gently shaking once in a while. Place in fridge. The next morning, pour contents into another mason jar using cheese-cloth as a filter. Pour into a cup, heat and enjoy.

Some add creamer at time of initial soaking of the grounds, some add sugar. I did not.

My wife started making herself ice coffees.

She brews a pot of Folgers and sticks it in the icebox. 2 parts coffee, 1 part milk, 1 part vanilla flavoring.
