Hi all. I just bought a 2008 Rockwood Signature Ultra Light. It's in great condition. However, I don't think the converter is working. I will be testing it in the next few days. My question is; if I replace it, do I need to replace it with the same model that is in there now? It is a Parallax 7155. Is there a better way to go? If I get a different brand/model, how do I secure it?
Thanks for any help. I am totally new at RVing and not especially savy when it comes to electrical stuff. My son who is an electrical engineer will be here in a couple of days and should be able to help me figure it out.

I'm not any sort of expert (or even close) when it comes to converters, but if you want some reading you can go to THIS SITE has some good info. My trailer has a WFCO (don't know the model number), but since this trailer was new in 2017 I have had it plugged in almost all of its life and have yet to need to add any water to either battery.
