I'd like to make the DLR feature selectable or Off. Word has it you can turn the DLR feature off with a Ford Scan tool $$$.
My issue with non selectable DLR is when in a Campground, when parked with engine on, pulling in after dark and/or leaving before sunrise. I'd like to use no lights or parking lights during startup and shut down.
Typically I drive with Head/Clearance Lights on regardless of the time of day.

Anyone have a work around to make the DLR feature selectable or Off?

We pull our TT with a Ford F-150. I was trying to find a way to fix the stop/start thing on my dash. I googled a video that showed a connection that could be removed to disable it. I called the service manager where I bought the PU (an ol' friend) and ask him about it and he that it would work but disconnecting it would cause the system to throw messages up for service problems. He said to get a trailer hook up and plug it in and that would work. I don't know the answer to your question but my point is to caucus about disabling some thing by unplugging a connection. Try setting the e-brake to see if the dlr's shut off.
