Not a big deal, just trying to understand it. I have 2 interstate batteries, connected to a 25 watt panel. Meters on both input and output side. As of this morning, batteries were at 11.75v or so. This afternoon, dead at 1.25v. The load was barely anything, just a camera. Had this setup for a month or so, with varying loads, just to see what happens. Again, no loss, just trying to be educated. Anything i can look for, postmortem?

Defective battery? How old?

Unfortunate. My guess is maybe a battery discharged and as a result it's gone bad. Do you have any other options to charge it other than the solar panel? Maybe something in the charger/charge controller is bad?
