I know many of you run humidifiers in the humidity belt. I'm not one of those that do,but!!!

I do have issues getting a good supply of water!

It's 8pm here with a humidity of 12percent humidity. So why am I talking dehumidifiers???

Well if I had a good size fresh water holding tank. Oh wait I do!!! I might be considering this little trick!!!

Here's to quality drinking water!!!

I thought of this several times when emptying my dehumidifier.
since this isbasicallydistilledwater. Probably could just bottle the water from the tank. Seems wasteful to throw it drain the drain.

Single use seems wasteful to me, so I agree. For me the round trip to the water utility is roughly 4 gallons of gasoline per Trip. That plus the coinage to buy the water, that I won't even give to my dog!

But I read many here talking about needing dehumidifiers, and I think of those cleaner feeling showers, and it made sense to bring it up.

For 12 percent humidity, it would just be an expensive perk!!! That when combined with the expense, and trouble acquiring water still might be worth experimenting if I could aquire a second hand Dehumidifier!

Why? Are we living on the planet Dune where water is completely unavailable?
