Our Dometic macerator toilet flush sequence in the full bath has changed. When we push the button on the wall there used to be a 2-3 second delay before it flushed. We would also hear some water running. Now when we plush the button the flush sequence starts immediately without any additional water. So ... it still works but we are concerned something changed.

You are now in low flush mode, which is good for boondocking or need to conserve black tank capacity. To change back to full flush mode, hold the flush button for approximately 3-5 seconds, power button should begin to flash. Your next flush should be normal water flow.

This is from the manual which can be found in resource section of the forum

6.2.2 Changing flush modes
Dometic 8700 series MasterFlush toilets offer two flush settings to help manage water consumption: Normal flush – Uses 0 .85 gal . (3 .2 liters) per flush . Adds water to bowl after every flush .
Dry Bowl flush – Uses 0 .45 gal . (1 .7 liters) per flush . Does not add water to bowl after flush .
To change from Normal to Dry Bowl flush setting, press “Flush” switch for about five seconds . When “Power On” light (fig . 4 3) begins flashing, release “Flush” switch . Flush mode has been changed to Dry Bowl setting . Change mode to Normal flush by following the same procedure .
